This week we have been using iPads in a range of different lessons from theme to maths. The children are now all experts at using Pic Collage and have been great at teaching each other the new features they have found out! You might like to download it at home, its free!!

I was very impressed with Year 5 this morning. Everyone tried their best to keep running around the field. Don't forget to try and do some running over the weekend but watch out for cars on the housing patches!

This week I have enjoyed using the iPads for math and English.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed using pic collage for when we learned greater and less than signs in math.
Last Week we read a book called The Firework Makers Daughter.
We made a mind map using an app on the iPads called Popplet about that story.
During science we also created a mind map of our own, but this time it was on paper. We used Pic Collage again for Theme, and marked all the places we could find in the United Kingdom.

DeleteThis week I enjoyed using the iPads to help us in maths for greater than and less than symbols.
ReplyDeleteWe also planted some passion fruit in the garden were the year group plants are quite tall.
We used Popplet to make mind maps, Pic collage to make printed sheets of paper with information and pictures, and we also used sketch and google earth to mark Europe and the United Kingdom.

I have enjoyed my week so far and I think the rest of the year is going to be awesome . In maths we have been learning greater and less than symbols . In science we have been learning animals and there habitats and we had to do a mind map. We get to learn on the ipad and we learn about Europe and we went on pop let skitch and pic collage. In English we also filmed each other saying the story the fire work maker in our own words

This week we have been discovering new countries and continents. But mostly fun when we use the sketch and google map then took a picture of the map. Then put it on sketch then put the arrows to point the new places. Then we had maths were we got to play on the iPad we all got to play different games each table. by Rays

ReplyDeleteI loved using an app called Pic Collage which we used for maths, English and theme it was very fun.
In English we are learning about a book called, the firework maker’s daughter, we used popplet to create a mind map about the firework maker’s daughter, we also used pic collage for our shark fact file. We also did bullet points of the main events of the story.
At maths we learnt about ordering numbers together. We played temple run on the ipads and once we died we keep our scores at the screen and we order the our scores and we wrote it down in our books.

I really like doing maths because we get to play games in the iPad like temple run and the scores me and my partner get we use this symbol >< to see what score is higher.
In English we are reading this book called the firework maker and his daughter. Sometimes in English we get use the iPads.

I like using the picollage app because you get to use lots of picture's from the internet and you get to add text.Also I like subway surf because it's like a game that my mum has called Minon rush.
